Josh Heffinger is Head of Workers’ Compensation for Volkswagen of America, where he leads workers’ compensation strategy and governance across U.S. operations supporting approximately 26,000 employees. With more than 13 years of experience in workers’ compensation, occupational health, claims management, and risk operations, Josh brings a practical, results-driven approach to improving outcomes for both employees and employers.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Self-Insurers Association, Josh is a member of the Tennessee Medical Payment Committee. He is passionate about advancing effective workers’ compensation practices, strengthening industry collaboration, and helping shape solutions that support Tennessee employers and injured workers alike.
